More Quality Time with Family

On Wednesday night (May 4th), Patrice and Camilla came over.  The weather was nice, so the kids got to run around outside.  We got pizza, watched the news (man, are we getting old!), and were able to visit.

Camilla's kids, mixed with most of mine and one of Patrices! Kelsey is holding Neta, Camilla's youngest.  Aurora is on Emma's left, and Camilla's oldest is Xela (on Ashton's left).  Jayden (w/the black gun) is Patrice's, he's sitting next to Nate (in green) and then Graigry (in red) who are Camilla's two boys! Whew. Not sure who the weird kid on the bottom right is ;o)

Tiff got in around 12:30 on Thursday.  Me, Dad, Patrice & Beka all went to welcome her home to the US.  She had a doctor's appointment at 1:45, so I took her straight there & watched her kids until she was done.  She's having a girl (#8 kid!) & everything looked good.  Yay!  So, I only had Joe, Melodie, Abi and Lily.  They had some lunch, played a little, then we picked up Tiff & I took them to their Grandma Wrides house.

On Friday night we got together just as adults.  We went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and just sat around & visited.

Beka & Matt are getting married on Saturday! With everyone in town, we wanted to take advantage of every night and get together.  Thursday, May 5th, we got together at Noah's.  Poor Tiff & Corey both flew all night from Santiago, Chile.  Tiff getting in at 1pm and Corey around 7:30, he came straight from the airport.  They were very good sports!  Everyone (minus JT who is busy w/school) together in the same place, it was awesome.  Lots of hugs, laughs, conversations.....and lots & lots of NOISE!

We finally dragged our kids out of there just before 10.  It was a school night, otherwise we'd have stayed until the end (we had the rooms until 11).  The kids had so much fun, and it was a great opportunity to have all the cousins together to play.  

Mallory is Five

Mallory turned 5 years old today!  We celebrated on Sunday, however, since there is no school, work or soccer.  She got to open her gifts Sunday morning and play until it was time for church (1PM).  Jared made a yummy Cafe Rio style dinner, and we had some family and friends over. Mal had a great day!  Then today she got to go to school where they sang to her and Teacher Pat gave her a special treat.  I told her she could have whatever she wanted for lunch & she chose Burger King.  The girl is obsessed with fry sauce!  I thought it would be fun to take her to a movie, but Sophie was needing a nap.  So we had some one on one time playing with her new toys.  Then Grandma Linda brought by cake and gifts.  She was looking forward to that, kept asking all day when Grandma Linda was coming.  Jared decided we should do something fun on her bday, so we went to Sweet Tomatoes and then to her soccer game.  They lost, but that's ok!  She's starting to figure it out.
