Lots of Miscellaneous Things....

Here's a quick photo catch-up of things going on......
Sophie is the only one home all day.  She got to go with me to watch Mallory sing in her 1st grade program.  We packed a little backpack with a few toys - she loved that & was very well behaved!  Cutest part (other than Mal singing) was when Sophie held up a toy phone from her toy kitchen at home and was pretending to take pictures with it. =]
Blurry - but there's my girl! (right in the middle)
Went to tuck her in & found her like this.  It's about time to be getting rid of those things!
Soph does this ALL the time - walks around with the Wii microphone singing.  She gets pretty animated, I don't know where she picks up her sassy moves.
Jared & I decided to splurge a little one night and see a movie at the VIP theater at Jordan Commons.  Sitting in a recliner at the movie theater is AWESOME.
(and the movie was funny - Pitch Perfect)
Ashton had a game in Park City one Saturday, so we decided to take everyone.  The team was doing lunch afterwards.  The next 3 pictures are from our Saturday morning in Park City.

 Lunch time!
Later that night we met up with Jared's cousin, Tamara, and her cute family.  We took the kids to Brick Oven and then to Airborne.
The kids love that place!
Ashton & Conner with buddies from their soccer teams (who are also brothers) Max & Charlie.

Sophie loves our trampoline at home, so I figured she was going to love this.  Nope.  She hated it.  Good thing she was less than $2 cuz all she played on was the stairs. =\
Emma, Rylee, Ashton, Mal & Conner all in this shot
Emma & Rylee
Ashton & Conner got their bday money from Grandma Devean, so I took them to the new Dick's by our house to pick something out.

D.I.V.A (not sure why she's upset here!)
We had the Hibbert's over for dinner on Gen. Conf. weekend.  Sophi likes her cousin Kelsey!

The kids didn't have school on Monday Oct. 8th, and since Jared hadn't seen the new exhibit at Hogle Zoo & we have a zoo pass we took the kids.  The polar bear wasn't out =/.  But we did get to see the elephants eat, the brown bears eating too....and they are working on a new exhibit!
New homes for lions & giraffes.

Since a lot of the zoo is under construction we didn't stay very long.  We decided to go check out the new Scheel's store in Draper.
It is massive, you almost feel like you are in a mall.
Emma, Conner, Kelsey & Mallory rode on the ferris wheel.

Emma is in the 7th grade girls choir at Union.  They had their first concert last week at Hillcrest, along with Hillcrest's choirs.  They did a good job!

15 Year Anniversary

Jared & I had our 15 year anniversary on Sept. 15th.  Since it fell on a weekend I really wanted to go do something different.  I was trying to find a deal on a hotel somewhere close.  Cheap, but still nice.  My sister's in-laws hooked us up with a stay Marriott's Summit Watch (Thanks Wrides!) at the bottom of Main Street.  It was perfect!  Denise stayed with the kids and we headed up Saturday afternoon and went home Sunday afternoon.  It was a perfect time to be in Park City with all the beautiful fall colors, and it wasn't crowded at all.

Watching Fox News - romantic, right?
Park Silly Sunday - art booths on Main St.
We decided it would be fun to take Guardsman Pass home (the road that connects Park City to Big Cottonwood Canyon).  We took our time and stopped wherever we wanted for pictures.

15 years flew by! Pretty soon I will have spent more of my life with Jared than with my family growing up.  Can't wait for the next 15, and the next 15, and the next......
