And other happenings.....

I realize after selecting my photos for this post that all the photos are of Sophie! I need to make an effort to take pics of all the kiddos, not just the new one!   = 0 )

Asleep in her recliner, I mean high chair

That's Jamie's boy Will (aka Squiby). He looks scared, but he climbed in there himself.  Does it every time he's here!

Will and Sophie - just another day in the office.
Working hard or hardly working?

Fell asleep folded in half.

Bathtime is her ABSOLUTE favorite thing....and we're both soaked
when it's over.  None of my babies splashed as much as she does.
She's worse than Shamu!

Other October happenings...

A new place opened up in Draper called Incredible Pizza Company.  Incredible pizza? No.  Fun...yes!  They have buffet style food: pizza, pasta, salad, desserts -- but it's not incredible.  But our kids had a BLAST playing!  They did laser-tag, mini-bowling, rode go-karts among other things.  We stayed for quite a while, and the kids were singing our praises for taking them there when we left. Kelsey said it was one of the "funnest nights ever".  Wow! And that's the 12 year old talking!

Trying to win more tickets!

Posing for the camera - mini bowling
I only had my camera phone, so the quality isn't that great.

Halloween

Halloween this year was definitely different than we're used to! First change - Kelsey did not trick or treat OR wear a costume on Halloween. For the ward trunk-or-treat she decided to dress up as a nerd at the last second, but I couldn't find my camera. Second thing - Emma went trick or treating with her friends - and I don't have any pictures of her either!  What a terrible thing!  Emma was a zombie prom queen, but because of the weather we didn't spray her hair black or do her face paint.  It was a rainy day.
Lucky for us the rain stopped around 6:00, so we got our trick-or-treating done quick, then came home to homemade chili, french bread and hot chocolate thanks to Jared!

Sophie is a ladybug! On our way to see Aunt Beka, then Uncle Tyler.

Trick or Treat!  We went to Bergman's first.....they are the best.

Minnie Mouse
Ashton is Boba Fett, Mal as Minnie Mouse, and Conner is Snake Eyes from GI Joe. Or a ninja.

Then and Now

One of Jared's properties is up in Roosevelt, UT. When he had to go visit this property last he took Ashton & Conner with him.  They went a little further to Vernal to see the Dinosaur Monument.  The last time we went there was when Conner was a baby.  Now we have these two photos of Conner on the same rock!

Boys Weekend with "Grandpa Jack"

Our friend (and Jared's "maintenance" guy for work) Jack took my boys camping.  He's the greatest.  Ashton and Conner were so excited! Jared was in charge of food (good assignment for him!) and Jack had everything else: camper, 4-wheelers, guns, knowledge ;o).  It was just for one night, but they had a blast.

Jack's giving them the 411 on guns

Conner looks afraid for his life!

If you look closely in the background you can see the orange targets they were shooting.

You're never too far away from home to call your mother!!  No need to cut those apron strings too soon :o)

Powdered doughnuts, anyone?

Jared always takes a few nature shots!

Meet the Dogs

Most people don't know we have a dog, let alone two!  We've had Abbie since Christmas of 2006.  She is a miniature Australian Shepherd/Toy Poodle mix.  She's a good dog. Except for when she sees an open door - she runs for it! I can't tell you how many times Jared's gone running down 10th after her.  Sometimes with his apron still on.  That's my man!

They love to play.  Abbie has to be tied down, but not Roxy.

Abbie.  She needs a haircut.

Roxy.  She's a chihuahua, if you couldn't tell.

Sophie - 9 months old

Sophie is 9 months old. She loves to smile, clap her hands, play on the floor, and eat!
Say Cheeeeese!

She loves it when we have music on!
