Sophie - 9 months old

Sophie is 9 months old. She loves to smile, clap her hands, play on the floor, and eat!
Say Cheeeeese!

She loves it when we have music on!

Sept 15th, State Fair

On our 13-year anniversary we decided to spend some time with the kids. As soon as they were all home from school we headed down to the State Fair.  We go every year.

Future Navy Seals? I think not.

Mal is so cute in this pic, but my favorite thing is
Ashton's horse in the background! Cheese!

A bunch of weirdos!

Sophie!  Love my little baby.....
After the fair we went downtown for dinner at Olive Garden.  A sweet lady as she was leaving her table put her hand on my back and said, "You have such beautiful, well-behaved children."  Nice!  I'll remember that the next time they are driving me nuts!

Let's Hang Out!

Kelsey needed a night to hang out with her friends, so I told her to invite her group of friends over to our place for a "late-over."  Some stayed until 10, some until 11:30.  They are a cute group of girls!  Very friendly, very loud!  Jamie took Mallory & Emma to her house, and Jared kept Ashton & Conner busy, so they had free-reign of the house.  They had pizza, treats, goofed-off outside, played the Wii, among other things.

PIZZA!

Such a good group of girls!

Ashton's 9 years old

Ashton's birthday was on Sunday, Sept. 12th.  He had to wait until after church to open gifts, which was kinda hard for him.  He got three of our gifts the week before, but we left the time-consuming Star Wars lego ships for Sunday.

Jared told him he'd make whatever cake he wanted. Carrot cake.
Must not be my child!

Party time for the boys!

We had a combined friend party for the boys.  They each invited a few buddies.  The weather was great, and they all ran around outside like a bunch of wild animals!

Happy Birthday to you....Happy Birthday to you...

The green & yellow candles were for Conner; red & blue for Ashton.
Ashton said his were for BYU & Utah (go figure) & Conner's were for the Packers.
How he knew the Green Bay Packers colors I'll never know!

Happy Birthday boys! Blowing out the candles....
Hoops for Ashton & his friends.

We rented this combined bounce-house/slide.  We had it for
Kelsey's 8th birthday, and it was a great way to keep the
kids entertained.

Conner turns 6!

Ashton & Conner

Conner couldn't wait to start!

Ashton always has us laughing.

Opening gifts from Grandma & Grandpa Hibbert.
The kids call them Grandma Linda and Papa Kim.

Off to school we go!

Conner ready for his first day of Kindergarten

Conner & his cousin, Libbie.  They are in Mrs. Wrights AM class.  He loves it so far, but he's still getting used to going every day.
Mallory is heading back to Teacher Pat's. This year she goes 3 days a week.
